Frontend Engineer (AI)

Annual salary: $175,000–$240,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop user-facing features for LangSmith using React and TypeScript.
• Build reusable components and frontend libraries.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality interfaces.
• Optimize components for performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with fullstack and backend engineers and UX/UI designers to improve usability.

Requirements

• Extensive frontend engineering experience with strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Yarn.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and collaboration with fullstack and backend engineers.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JWTs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, ideally supported by a degree in computer science or a related field.
