Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise (Data)

Location: Remote, Colorado, United States. Mandatory travel to a designated company location for a one-week, in-person Revenue Bootcamp during the second week of onboarding.

OTE compensation range: $166,788.50–$208,485.75 USD and $208,485.63–$260,607.19 USD, depending on target position and level.

What you will do

• Understand enterprise customers’ business needs, use cases, data replication requirements, and data transformation requirements.
• Collaborate with account executives, professional services, BDRs, marketing, and support to maintain account ownership plans.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations for enterprise audiences.
• Run structured proof-of-value processes to secure technical wins throughout the sales cycle.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align solutions with enterprise customer needs.
• Build relationships with enterprise customers and partners and stay current with industry technologies and trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data replication, data practice, data operations, analytics, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in support of large enterprise customers.
• Strong technical background in data replication, cloud infrastructure, data replication technologies, and/or database administration.
• Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience using AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Kafka, Grafana, Linux, Windows, and Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and SAP databases.
• Basic Python competency and advanced SQL knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with other data replication or ETL tools.
• Experience with self-hosted software applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Hands-on networking experience in cloud and on-premise environments.
