Human Resources Manager, Manufacturing

Location: Hayward, California; onsite 5 days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Estimated base salary: $112,000–$154,000 annually.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders to align people strategies, workforce planning, and talent initiatives with manufacturing objectives.
• Drive organizational design, succession planning, talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.
• Lead HR program and policy implementation with HR Centers of Excellence.
• Use workforce analytics to identify trends, improve operations, and enhance the employee experience.
• Manage change initiatives, complex employee relations matters, investigations, risk mitigation, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
• 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years of generalist experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments, workforce metrics, Lean principles, operational effectiveness, and organizational change.
• Strong consulting, communication, relationship management, project management, process management, and change management skills.
• Proficiency with Workday and/or Kronos and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Expertise in performance management, compensation, talent management, organizational design, training, and employee relations, including California employment law and regulatory requirements.
