Continuous Improvement Leader (Lean)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States; on-site five days per week

Annual base salary: $97,406.66–$135,834.99

What you will do

• Conduct value stream analyses, assess operational effectiveness, and define future-state processes.
• Review procedures and controls, identify obstacles, and organize teams around improvement plans.
• Lead Rapid Improvement Events and Just Do It actions to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
• Train and coach line leaders and office staff in Lean methodologies, problem-solving behaviors, flow, on-demand operations, zero defects, standardized work, and visual management.
• Ensure engagement and collaboration throughout Rapid Improvement Event preparation, execution, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with site and department leadership and act as a Value Stream Coach when needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working in a Lean environment and applying continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing employees and leaders in Lean principles.
• Experience facilitating at least 30 successful Rapid Improvement Events using a defined process.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver significant operational and financial improvements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with varied audiences.
• An associate or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred; equivalent education, training, or practical experience is accepted.
