Senior Quality Supervisor, Receiving Inspection (2nd Shift)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Compensation range: $76,000–$141,100 annually, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, train, and develop Quality Technicians in the Receiving Inspection function.
• Develop and improve standardized inspection protocols, methods, plans, instructions, and work practices.
• Set inspection priorities and allocate resources so incoming materials are released in support of production schedules.
• Improve inspection efficiency, accuracy, and throughput through process improvement, technology, automation, and Lean methodologies.
• Lead supplier and incoming-material quality investigations, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Monitor nonconformance reports and performance metrics, identify trends, and drive systemic improvements to supplier quality and material flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment, including receiving inspection, supplier quality, or quality operations.
• Experience leading, coaching, developing, and training Quality Technicians or similar teams.
• Knowledge of receiving inspection methods, GD&T, blueprint reading, metrology equipment, and inspection technologies.
• Experience developing standardized inspection plans, inspection instructions, and standardized work.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, control plans, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Nice to have

• ASQ certification such as CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA, or similar.
• Experience with CMMs, vision systems, advanced inspection technologies, ERP/MRP systems, or electronic quality management systems.
• APQP, supplier development, New Product Introduction, or high-volume manufacturing experience.
