Claim Specialist-Auto Injury-Hybrid

Location: Hybrid in Dunwoody, Georgia, United States; training may require a higher percentage of in-office work.

Salary: $70,101.85–$83,535.93 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Review and analyze auto injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Investigate claims by interviewing involved parties and reviewing medical records, police reports, policies, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate bodily injury, uninsured/underinsured motorist, and property damage liability claims.
• Negotiate settlements within policy limits and handle demands, lawsuits, and attorney-represented claims.
• Document claim activity, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports.
• Coordinate with legal, medical, risk assessment, vendors, independent experts, and defense counsel.

Requirements

• Prior claim handling experience, including bodily injury, property damage liability, and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.
• Experience verifying coverage, legal liability, and the extent of damage using policies, laws, statutes, and insurance regulations.
• Litigation experience and the ability to identify complex claims requiring expert or defense counsel coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, decision-making, negotiation, organization, and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, manage multiple technical platforms, and work flexible shifts, overtime, or irregular hours when required.
