Maintenance Technician

Location: Dallas, TX; 100% onsite during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not available.

What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs for restrooms, doors, furniture, flooring, equipment rooms, and mechanical spaces.
• Replace lamps, air filters, ceiling tiles, and fire extinguishers, and conduct inspections and cleaning of engineering areas.
• Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and process-control maintenance tasks under the supervision of engineering leadership.
• Transport parts and supplies using employer-provided vehicles and complete general labor and debris-removal tasks.
• Communicate with tenants, vendors, contractors, engineers, teammates, and leadership while providing maintenance updates and customer service.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures, comply with OSHA, NEC, NFC, and NFPA requirements, report hazards, and participate in safety audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical or vocational training and/or 1–2 years of on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing.
• Basic knowledge of work-order and facility-operation systems, laptop and phone applications, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Required engineering and trade licenses in accordance with applicable local, state, or national requirements.
• Ability to read and write English, understand manuals and procedures, write reports, use tools, and understand blueprints and code requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available. Ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies when needed.
