Senior Electronic Security Project Manager (ESS)

Location: United States; frequent local travel to client sites within approximately a 2-hour driving distance, with occasional air travel. Travel is required, and local site travel typically represents 70–90% of the role.

What you will do

• Lead the execution and delivery of large-scale electronic and physical security system projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage scope, schedules, baselines, budgets, costs, margins, quality, risks, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate implementation and integration of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Partner with site supervisors, general contractors, end users, internal teams, and other stakeholders on construction sequencing, field verification, programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage punch lists, project turnover, client training, documentation, and final handover.
• Maintain client relationships, resolve concerns proactively, and communicate project impacts to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or electronic security systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering waterfall projects to fixed dates while controlling quality and profitability.
• Strong understanding of PMP methodologies, construction sequencing, project risk management, and financial controls.
• Client-facing experience, technical aptitude, and ability to learn new technologies quickly; enterprise client experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and willingness to travel up to 25% are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program.
• Electronic Security Systems experience.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
