Principal Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work from the Arlington, Virginia office, United States

Salary: $168,000–$210,000 annual base salary, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design vision for hirify.global Card products, covering onboarding, activation, funding, everyday spending, and account management.
• Manage projects from discovery and concept ideation through flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final interaction design deliverables.
• Define information architecture, interaction patterns, trust patterns, and disclosure experiences for regulated financial products.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Writers to define customer problems and product goals.
• Advocate for design during planning and development while delivering cohesive, visually compelling product experiences.
• Represent customer needs and user insights throughout product decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtfully designed, tested, and shipped experiences.
• Experience driving product direction, setting goals, identifying opportunities, and making customer-centric decisions.
• Experience designing and prototyping complex workflows with Figma, InVision, or similar tools.
• Expert-level knowledge of Figma.
