Staff Product Designer (Healthcare)

Salary: $195,000–$275,000 annual salary, plus equity and benefits; commission is also offered.

What you will do

• Lead the design vision and strategy for member-facing Outcomes experiences, including progress tracking and pain logging.
• Translate complex clinical and behavioral data into clear interfaces that communicate trends, next actions, and progress.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data to define hypotheses, run experiments, and improve member outcomes.
• Create frameworks, patterns, and design principles that improve coherence and scalability across the pod.
• Influence adjacent teams when shared surfaces, metrics, or behaviors affect outcomes-related experiences.
• Champion accessibility, clarity, and product quality for members with different needs and motivation levels.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction, Industrial, Product, or Service Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in interaction and visual design, prototyping, systems thinking, and design systems.
• Experience leading ambiguous problem spaces, setting product or platform vision, and defining design strategy.
• Strong data-informed design skills, including hypothesis formation, experimentation, research facilitation, and insight translation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, facilitation, and designer mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing progress tracking, dashboards, data visualizations, or other data-rich products.
• Experience simplifying complex systems into intuitive consumer-facing health, wellness, or habit-forming experiences.
• Curiosity about emerging AI tools and workflows.
