Director of Strategy & Operations (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, hybrid

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 base salary annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of surgical services programs, with potential expansion to additional programs.
• Build, maintain, and scale programs to support 10x growth in active students.
• Develop and execute experiments to accelerate enrollment, retention, and program scale.
• Collaborate with Curriculum, Product, Policy, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
• Meet the standards of healthcare regulators and accreditors while delivering strong student outcomes and client results.
• Oversee Program Directors, instructors, and coordinators.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, including operational experience at a high-growth startup.
• Passion for helping students access education and healthcare careers.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead through influence and coordinate diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and learn through experimentation.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or EdTech experience.
• Experience leading clinicians, program directors, or instructors.
• Experience with remote educational delivery, online teaching, virtual simulations, or virtual reality.
