Demand Planning Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Wood Dale, Illinois, United States; hybrid work arrangement requiring three days onsite per week

Salary: $130,000–$140,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end S&OP process across the global business, aligning demand and supply with customer commitments.
• Improve on-time delivery by identifying fulfillment gaps, leading root-cause analysis, and coordinating corrective actions.
• Build and maintain statistical demand forecasting models using commercial signals, market trends, and historical data.
• Manage finished-goods and component inventory strategies while balancing service levels and inventory turnover.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and suppliers on capacity, launches, promotions, and market changes.
• Develop supply chain KPIs and mitigation plans for supply risks and disruptions.

Requirements

• Experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or S&OP in a global manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Track record of improving on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, or inventory turnover through cross-functional ownership.
• Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to facilitate alignment and influence stakeholders across Sales, Operations, and Finance without direct authority.
• Ability to work in Wood Dale, Illinois, with three onsite days each week.

Nice to have

• Experience leading S&OP in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar demand planning platforms.
• Background in product identification, industrial equipment, or durable goods.
