Inventory Analyst (AI Hardware)

Location: Headquarters/Sunnyvale Office, on-site

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 annually, plus potential bonus and equity

What you will do

• Create and improve recurring inventory reports, dashboards, and scorecards covering accuracy, cycle counts, variances, exceptions, transaction timing, and location discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data across warehouses, manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, and other partner locations to identify mismatches, root causes, and operational risks.
• Support cycle count planning and execution, including schedules, readiness, discrepancy tracking, recounts, variance validation, and closure reporting.
• Reconcile ERP, WMS, partner, physical count, transfer, receiving, and shipment records while tracking aged and unresolved exceptions.
• Partner with Inventory, Logistics, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, contract manufacturer, and 3PL teams to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain audit-ready inventory control processes and reporting that reduce manual reconciliation, write-offs, recurring variances, and operational exposure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inventory analysis, inventory control, manufacturing operations, logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain operations, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cycle counting, variance analysis, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, receiving, transfers, scrap, MRB, RMA, and physical inventory controls.
• Experience in complex, fast-paced environments involving multiple sites, warehouses, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, or external partners.
• Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills, including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data comparisons, exception reporting, and large-data-set analysis.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory reporting systems; NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, ownership, follow-through, prioritization, and cross-functional influence skills.
