AVP SRE and Cloud Solutions (SRE/Cloud)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States (Hybrid); three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead initiatives that improve the reliability, availability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency of digital systems and applications.
• Define and execute SRE and DevSecOps strategy across observability, security automation, infrastructure automation, cloud engineering, and CI/CD.
• Establish proactive monitoring, incident management, and risk-management practices to reduce service disruptions and downtime.
• Lead, coach, and develop SRE, DevSecOps, and Cloud engineering teams while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Define and track KPIs for system health, availability, performance, and delivery effectiveness.
• Partner with product, engineering, business teams, and senior leaders to embed reliability and security into application design and delivery.

Requirements

• Experience leading SRE, DevSecOps, cloud operations, or related engineering teams.
• Experience with observability, application performance monitoring, incident management, operational support, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, reliability, scalability, and security engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure networking, and cloud security.
• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring Agile Scrum teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• 7–10 years of IT industry experience, 3–5 years of technical leadership in large enterprises, 2–4 years of early-career software development experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
