Lead Medical Assistant (Pulmonary Care)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary resource and point of contact for the Medical Assistant team.
• Provide daily guidance, support, mentorship, and onboarding assistance to Medical Assistants.
• Monitor team workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Help ensure clinical workflows, protocols, and organizational standards are followed.
• Support quality assurance, workflow audits, performance improvement initiatives, and daily assignment coverage.
• Communicate operational issues and recommendations to clinical leadership.

Requirements

• Associate degree related to the field.
• 5+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience thriving in a dynamic remote work setting.
• Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and operational guidance to Medical Assistants.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 1–2+ years of leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Athena EHR.
