Chief Nursing Officer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, United States; 30% expected travel

What you will do

• Act as the clinical voice in sales conversations with nursing executives and build trusted relationships with clinical champions.
• Challenge clinical objections and co-own clinical validation throughout the sales process.
• Advise the program and product roadmap by evaluating decisions, messaging, and use cases against real-world nursing workflows.
• Coach the sales team on clinical terminology, care delivery models, and nursing executive priorities.
• Review clinical claims in marketing materials, case studies, and ROI models, and help develop clinical content.
• Represent hirify.global at nursing and health system conferences while cultivating clinical advisors and reference customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 5 years in senior nursing leadership at a recognized health system.
• Experience operating in a commercial environment, including working with vendors, leading evaluations, or making significant technology or operational purchasing decisions.
• Commercial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and confidence participating directly in sales deals.
• Excellent communication skills in small-group settings and before large audiences.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.

Nice to have

• DNP or relevant certification such as CENP or NEA-BC.
• Experience at a top-tier complex health system, such as an academic medical center, large IDN, or magnet-designated system.
• Clinical advisor, CMO/CNO-in-residence, or commercial clinical experience at a health tech or medical device company.
• Published work, national conference speaking experience, or an established nursing leadership network.
• Experience with Clinical Education or Clinical Professional Development.
