Medical Assistant — Clinical Operations

Location: United States, Remote

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 USD per year, plus potential incentive bonus, stock options, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage medication-assisted treatment workflows, including refills, fulfillment coordination, adherence support, and member outreach.
• Coordinate prior authorization submissions, status tracking, appeals, and timely resolution across prescribed medications.
• Communicate with members, providers, pharmacies, and internal care teams to support timely medication access.
• Support providers with medication management and partner with counselors to coordinate care and address member concerns.
• Collaborate with clinical, product, and operations teams to improve scalable medication management workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical protocols and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience, as required by state regulations.
• Experience with prior authorizations, medication coordination, care coordination, or clinical operations.
• Familiarity with substance use disorder, behavioral health, or addiction medicine, or strong interest in developing expertise in these areas.
• Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfort working independently in a remote-first environment.
