Journeyman Technician (HVAC)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States. Field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations.

Hourly base pay: $70.58.

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan installations and repairs, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
• Serve as the direct customer contact while diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Use diagnostic software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete repairs.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain records for company-issued and procured assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification.
• Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required.

• Technical school education or formal HVAC training.
