Sr Journeyman HVAC Commercial

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; onsite

Salary: $39.01–$47.67 per hour, based on experience, with bonus, benefits, and additional overtime and task-work earning opportunities.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and safety-compliance checks to prevent system failures.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
• Maintain service reports, work records, and inventory documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support customer service, and mentor other technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair experience.
• State Journeyman HVAC license and EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Strong communication, customer service, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

• Completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program.
