Railroad Construction Manager

Location: San Francisco, California; onsite field position

Salary: $150,000–$200,000+ annually

What you will do

• Lead construction projects from contract award through completion.
• Administer projects across technical, financial, scheduling, and client satisfaction areas.
• Coordinate and schedule contractors while supervising assigned staff.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with design specifications and contractual requirements.
• Maintain project budgets and schedules, and deliver weekly project status reports.
• Act as the primary onsite liaison between clients, company personnel, and contractors to resolve project issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to obtain required certifications and pass qualification tests within the specified time frames.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical conditions and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
