Sr Software Engineering Team Manager (AI)

Location: Onsite in Richfield, Ohio, United States

Salary: USD $168,000–$201,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead one or more software delivery teams across design, development, testing, deployment, tooling, and production support.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for high-quality enterprise software solutions.
• Guide adoption of generative AI and machine learning technologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Oversee AI-assisted code generation, debugging, and architectural design.
• Lead Agile planning, implementation, change management, and release management for business applications.
• Coach, retain, and develop technical talent while collaborating with technology, business, and client-facing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience in software engineering or development, including 5+ years of people leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading small to medium-sized projects and initiatives.
• Experience with generative AI and machine learning adoption across the SDLC, including AI-assisted coding, debugging, and architecture.
• Strong expertise in software design, development, testing, maintenance, and support, with experience leading distributed scalable enterprise applications.
• Experience with technologies such as C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle, REST or SOAP APIs, SAML, OAuth, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

• Test Driven Development experience.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with PCF, GCP, or AWS cloud platforms.
• Software engineering background.
