Service Technician Apprentice (HVAC)

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, United States; work is performed at customer locations and in the office when not engaging with customers

Salary: $32.18 per hour

What you will do

• Assist experienced service technicians with installing and repairing HVAC and environmental control systems.
• Identify, examine, diagnose, and plan repairs for equipment at customer locations.
• Coordinate on-site installations with supervising technicians, project managers, and customers.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain customer satisfaction, safety standards, and accountability for company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age on the first day of employment.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
• No major or frequent traffic violations during the last three years.
• No industry experience or formal HVAC training is required.
• Strong desire to learn the HVAC trade and make a direct impact.

Nice to have

• Technical school certificate or formal HVAC training and experience.
