Service & Warranty Technician (HVAC)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; full-time role requiring travel 90% of the time.

Pay range: $25.29–$37.94.

hirify.global’s BASX division designs and manufactures custom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for data centers, clean rooms, surgery centers, and other specialized facilities.

What you will do

• Start up, service, and maintain specialized commercial HVAC systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, laptops, and test equipment for installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Review work orders, manuals, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan service assignments.
• Inspect installation sites and discuss service assignments with customer representatives.
• Diagnose HVAC malfunctions and repair or replace defective mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Document service calls and start-ups, including equipment performance and product improvement suggestions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hand tools, equipment troubleshooting, mechanical systems, and repair-or-replace decisions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for up to 95% of working hours.

• Trade school education or relevant certifications.
