Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot)

Location: Hybrid, with residence within a 180-mile radius of the Richardson, Texas or Bloomington, Illinois hubs; applicants must be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Potential starting salary: $85,500–$125,000 per year. Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the Agent Office Identification platform, including the Agent Locator, Agent Search, agent microsites, and supporting APIs.
• Own solutions from concept through production, working with product, business partners, analytics, UX, and engineering teams.
• Modernize legacy systems into reusable services and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS and Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS.
• Strengthen data quality and application security across a platform serving millions of customer interactions.
• Contribute to technical decisions, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and production support.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional software development experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus relevant internship or project experience.
• Full-stack development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Ability to design scalable, object-oriented applications using modern design patterns.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including code quality, automated testing, maintainability, and relational databases.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or Codex for development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience delivering software from concept through production and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to build relationships across teams and organizational levels, adapt to change, foster innovation, incorporate new ideas, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
