Senior Software Engineer-Java Full Stack (Payments)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

What you will do

• Deliver critical payment technology solutions end to end, from concept through production.
• Design and implement cloud-native application architectures using microservices patterns.
• Improve platform resilience, scalability, observability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Build modern frontend and backend experiences that improve usability and commerce outcomes.
• Champion engineering quality, testing, security standards, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex full-stack solutions.
• Expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
• Advanced proficiency with React 18, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, observability tools, and secure application design.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Legal authorization to work full-time for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle Database, advanced SQL, and enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Experience with IBM Rational tools and large-scale enterprise application development.
