What you will do
- Design and operate secure full-stack identity systems using React, TypeScript, Java, and Node.js.
- Own complex features end-to-end, from requirements gathering and systems design to implementation and production.
- Lead an AI-first development workflow using Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
- Optimize platform reliability and debug complex production issues in high-traffic distributed identity systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Security Engineers on technical integrations.
- Mentor peers by sharing prompt engineering patterns and workflow optimizations to increase squad velocity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–6 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java for backend services and React, Node.js, and TypeScript for frontend.
- Strong core engineering fundamentals in distributed system design, API development, and web security.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for production-grade systems.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, OAuth, OIDC, or SAML.
- Cloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk and Grafana.
- Exposure to web accessibility (WCAG) and internationalization.
