What you will do

• Design and validate network and security architectures across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Drive network and security transformation initiatives, focusing on modernization and optimization programs.
• Act as the primary technical lead and escalation point for complex incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Lead governance activities to ensure alignment with architectural standards, security policies, and service quality targets.
• Oversee the full solution lifecycle, including design, integration, migration, and roll-out.
• Implement automation and optimization to drive continuous service improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in networking and security within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience as a Network and Security Architect in large-scale production environments.
• Strong expertise in high availability architectures and secure network design.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• English language proficiency for technical writing and clear communication with subject experts.
• Must be based in Roma, Italy to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, Fortinet, or F5.
• Cloud certifications with a networking/security focus (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
• Experience with DevSecOps, DevNetOps, and large-scale system performance evaluation.
