Mechanical Warranty Administrator (Automotive Warranty)

Location: In office at one of three locations

Salary: $15.00–$30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Automotive Business Solutions, a division of Brown & Brown Insurance, provides warranty solutions for the automotive aftermarket industry.

What you will do

• Answer incoming calls for assigned automotive warranty programs.
• Enter repair, roadside assistance, battery, and tire claim information accurately into electronic databases.
• Explain program coverage and adjudicate claims according to coverage limits.
• Make outbound calls to ensure consumer needs are met.
• Work directly with repair shops to help consumers receive their warranty benefits.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• For automotive warranty administration: understanding of automotive repairs, shop procedures, diagnostic information, and tires.
• Automotive industry experience as a technician, service advisor, parts department employee, or other automotive service professional.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French skills.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications.
