Residential Weatherization Energy Auditor (Energy Efficiency)

Salary: $18.80–$28.30 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive residential energy audits and in-home energy assessments.
• Perform blower door, combustion appliance zone, ventilation, and other required diagnostic testing.
• Evaluate homes for health, safety, durability, energy efficiency, and weatherization opportunities.
• Develop detailed work scopes and job packets covering air sealing, insulation, ventilation, health and safety repairs, and other energy conservation measures.
• Collect field measurements, photographs, audit reports, and supporting documentation.
• Educate customers and coordinate with installers, contractors, inspectors, and program staff to ensure work complies with program standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in residential construction, weatherization, building performance, energy auditing, HVAC, insulation, or a related field is preferred.
• BPI certifications or weatherization experience are preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in residential settings.
• Proficiency with tablets, software applications, and data entry systems.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; applicable DOT requirements must be met.
