Energy Engineering Co-op (HVAC)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Monday through Thursday is onsite; Fridays offer flexibility regarding work location. The role requires onsite office work, with potential future conversion to hybrid work or relocation to another Southeast-region office.

Salary: $21.00–$25.50 per hour; another listing states an hourly base pay of $23.50.

What you will do

• Support Digital Services, Intelligent Services, and Energy Services projects.
• Interpret utility bills and help customers connect building operations with organizational goals.
• Benchmark prospective customers’ buildings against industry peers and quantify potential efficiency improvements.
• Update energy visuals, ENERGY STAR scores, and carbon-emissions data for Intelligent Services accounts.
• Participate in customer consultation meetings and energy-audit walkthroughs under mentor supervision.
• Work as part of account teams and support sales activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering; preferred disciplines include Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work onsite in the office.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and provide proof of insurance.
• Have no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions, including recent DUI, hit-and-run, license suspension, or reckless driving.
