What you will do

• Translate vague product problems into polished, shipped web software.
• Design interface components and build the supporting backend logic across the full stack.
• Shape the product’s visual language and expand the design system.
• Speak directly with users to guide product iteration and prioritization.
• Take ownership of code quality, testing, performance, and system stability.

Requirements

• Experience shipping web products with simple, effective solutions.
• Deep Ruby on Rails expertise and confidence working across the full technology stack.
• Proficiency in modern CSS and Tailwind, with strong attention to UI polish and motion.
• Ability to build accessible, intuitive interfaces without a dedicated designer.
• Commitment to reliable code, thorough testing, and stable systems.
• Willingness to adopt modern tools and workflows.

Nice to have

• Background in AI, e-commerce, fashion, or media-rich applications.
• Portfolio, live application samples, or open-source contributions.
