TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript/Python): Building a new government and defence product from early prototypes to a scalable production-ready solution with an accent on system integrations, geospatial data workflows, and security-sensitive use cases. Focus on designing end-to-end prototypes, defining service boundaries and data models, and building interoperable backend, API, and frontend systems.

What you will do
- Design and build end-to-end prototypes in TypeScript and Python, translating ambiguous requirements into functional systems.
- Define integrations with internal platforms, external services, and partners, ensuring reliable interfaces and data flows.
- Establish early architecture, including service boundaries, data models, deployment patterns, APIs, and shared standards.
- Iterate prototypes into robust solutions based on stakeholder and partner feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on AI-driven features, platform components, and interoperability in security-sensitive environments.
- Contribute across backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, documentation, testing, and early-stage engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals in TypeScript and Python, with clean and maintainable code.
- Experience building full stack applications with backend services, APIs, and modern frontend interfaces.
- Experience rapidly prototyping products and translating ambiguous requirements into working solutions.
- Experience designing system integrations, APIs, data pipelines, or third-party service connections.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and scalable service deployment.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, cross-functional collaboration, and pragmatic technical trade-offs.
Nice to have
- Experience in early-stage or zero-to-one product environments.
- Experience with React, Node.js, FastAPI, or similar web frameworks.
- Experience with data-intensive applications, data pipelines, AI/ML product integrations, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with external partners, interoperable systems, geospatial data, or Earth observation.
