Business Development Representative (Commercial Insurance)

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls to quote and bind new business policies across multiple states.
• Educate customers on program features, coverage forms, exclusions, state-required affidavits, and underwriting and claims processes.
• Review coverage and endorsement forms to explain policy details accurately.
• Respond to quote and coverage inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Meet or exceed monthly new business premium and bind ratio goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
• Problem-solving, critical-thinking, written and verbal communication, and basic office skills.
