Senior Claims Representative

What you will do

• Manage claim inventories for high-priority accounts and catastrophic claims.
• Verify coverage, research claim details, evaluate exposure, and make recommendations using discretionary judgment.
• Contact members, injured workers, agents, providers, attorneys, and other stakeholders by phone and email.
• Investigate claims, obtain documentation, adjust reserves, and complete claim processing according to company standards.
• Meet with relevant stakeholders as needed and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Provide training and mentorship to claims personnel.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance-related studies, or human resources preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, IVOS, and similar tools.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Insurance or industry certification or designation.
