Outside Property Claim Associate

Location: Remote within the United States, serving Denver, Aurora, Thornton, and Northglenn, Colorado. The selected candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory at their own expense. The role includes work at residential and commercial properties, travel, and possible overnight stays.

Salary: $52,600–$86,800 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Complete a 9–12 month training program covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, procedures, and on-the-job claim handling.
• Review, investigate, document, and evaluate first-party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Interpret policy coverage and assess building and contents damage to prepare written or computer-assisted estimates.
• Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, agents, and internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate claim records.
• Inspect homes and structures, including roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas; travel extensively and work at multiple locations as needed.

Requirements

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned Colorado territory at personal expense.
• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree and prior customer service or insurance experience are preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of starting.
• Ability to inspect structures, carry and set up 38–49 pound ladders, climb ladders, travel extensively, and stay overnight when required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with insurance, claims management, or estimating software.
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, customer service, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
