What you will do

• Handle complex Property and Inland Marine claims with exposures of $100,000 and above.
• Investigate claims, estimate property damages, and obtain necessary documentation for settlement.
• Determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and manage reserves.
• Assist and deploy for CAT (Catastrophe) duty as required.
• Manage vendors and expenses efficiently.
• Provide reports on significant exposure cases to leadership and reinsurers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of property claims experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
• Possession of or ability to secure state adjuster license(s) and maintain continuing education.
• Thorough knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines coverages.
• Proficiency in Xactimate or similar computer-based damage estimating software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
