What you will do

• Originate new asset-based lending opportunities through referrals, direct calling, and intermediary networks.
• Structure revolving lines, term loans, FILOs, and other customized working capital facilities.
• Lead transactions from initial screening through credit approval, closing, and post-closing relationship management.
• Analyze financial performance, liquidity, collateral quality, borrowing bases, advance rates, and covenant packages.
• Monitor portfolio performance, reporting compliance, collateral trends, and early warning indicators.
• Coordinate underwriting, credit, legal, operations, field exam, portfolio management, and special assets teams while mentoring junior bankers and analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or four years of relevant experience.
• Minimum seven years of commercial portfolio management experience.
• At least five years of experience in asset-based lending, leveraged finance, or commercial banking.
• Proven ability to originate and manage complex credit relationships.
• Strong understanding of borrowing base mechanics, collateral-driven underwriting, sponsor transactions, and leveraged transactions.
• Strong credit judgment, structuring, negotiation, business development, and transaction management skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with field exams, appraisals, and liquidation scenarios.
• Existing sponsor and intermediary relationships.
• MBA or CFA.
