Buyer II (Supply Chain)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite position.

Salary: $69,000–$88,000 per year.

What you will do

• Apply purchasing policies to maintain quality, inventory levels, delivery schedules, and competitive supplier costs.
• Execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify supply chain risks, including market trends, capacity constraints, commodity risks, and supplier business conditions.
• Develop supplier partnerships, escalate performance issues, and implement corrective action plans using World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Support purchasing fundamentals, data analytics, supply chain management, supplier development, cost reduction, and negotiation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or supply chain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Pullman, Washington.

Nice to have

• APICS or ISM certification.
• Understanding of electronics technology, manufacturing methods, and total quality processes.
• Additional experience with MRP or ERP systems.
