Senior Strategic Buyer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors.
• Source and qualify suppliers while managing supply risks, capacity constraints, quality issues, and disruptions.
• Use MRP and ERP functionality to plan production volumes, place orders, and maintain purchasing and replenishment data.
• Monitor supplier pricing, quality, delivery, lead times, and overall performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, inventory efficiency, supplier performance, and cost control.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Engineering, and other teams on purchasing requirements, reports, supplier evaluations, and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing methods and vendor capabilities.
• Experience with NetSuite, Syteline, or a similar ERP system and with MRP functionality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
