Purchasing Analyst

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, USA; standard office environment with flexibility for remote work at the manager's discretion. Minimal travel may be required for supplier, distribution center, and dealer visits, including remote outdoor locations.

Salary: $64,000–$80,000 per year in Minnesota.

What you will do

• Manage relationships with assigned Parts, Garments & Accessories suppliers and drive consistent performance.
• Review recommended purchase quantities with demand planning analysts to improve purchasing accuracy.
• Approve purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and expedite orders to support fill-rate goals.
• Coordinate with purchasing, demand planning, inventory, and customer service functions.
• Resolve backorders, invoice discrepancies, and purchase order issues.
• Negotiate costs, lead times, minimum order quantities, and economic order quantities while executing cost- and inventory-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, material requirements planning, or inventory management; purchasing experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, influencing, conflict-resolution, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment in Plymouth, Minnesota, with limited remote flexibility.
