Jr. NOC Analyst

Location: Remote; only candidates from LATAM accepted. Locations include Brasilia, Bogotá, Mexico, Guatemala City, San José, Panama, Sucre, Lima, Santiago, Montevideo, Asunción, and São Paulo.

What you will do

• Proactively monitor production networks, applications, and services.
• Respond to and resolve alerts and alarms according to standard operating procedures.
• Track incidents and issues in a ticketing system.
• Escalate alerts and issues to the appropriate support teams and collaborate on timely resolution.
• Participate in high-priority incident bridge calls and prepare post-mortem reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of similar experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and computer networks.
• Working knowledge of issue and ticket-tracking systems.
• English at B2 level or higher, including the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, or AWS/Azure Fundamentals.
• Experience with New Relic, Datadog, or SolarWinds.
• Experience with Splunk or other log management tools such as Dynatrace, Loggly, or Sumo Logic.
• Basic Linux/Unix knowledge and understanding of BGP, MPLS, and OSPF.
