Field Deployment Analyst (Network)

What you will do

• Diagnose hardware, software, and network connectivity issues affecting agency networks.
• Determine whether outages result from commercial circuit failures or internal facility defects.
• Implement remediation, including failed component replacement, and escalate complex issues to Tier 3 field engineering.
• Coordinate with NOCs, network engineers, field technicians, customer representatives, and external vendors.
• Execute scheduled deployment windows, conduct site surveys, and coordinate escalation paths between field and back-office engineering teams.
• Prepare deployment reports, verification logs, incident post-mortems, schedule updates, tracking matrices, and asset database updates.

Requirements

• Secret clearance required before starting.
• BA or BS degree with five years of experience, or a high school diploma.
• Expertise with Cisco Layer 2/3 devices and Palo Alto firewall products.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
• DHS or CBP experience.
• Availability for a rotating on-call schedule.
