Vice President, Global Engineering (Supply Chain Automation)

Location: Irvine, California, United States. Requires global travel up to 30% of the time.

Salary: USD $247,700–$470,600 per year, plus potential bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global engineering strategy for supply chain operations, including site engineering, facilities design, network optimization, capacity planning, and capital projects.
• Lead global standards, performance metrics, process improvement programs, and long-term logistics and network roadmaps.
• Own the global rollout of supply chain execution systems, including WMS, TMS, YMS, OMS, network modeling, and optimization tools.
• Develop network design and automation strategies and sponsor major automation, transformation, and multi-tenant warehouse initiatives.
• Lead customer solution design, complex customer programs, project management, and delivery.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, vendor relationships, sourcing initiatives, and a global organization of engineering leaders and technical professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; a Master’s degree in Engineering and MBA are strongly preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, supply chain, or operations leadership.
• At least 5 years of executive leadership experience in a global, matrixed, high-volume organization.
• Experience leading large-scale supply chain transformations, automation programs, and global systems implementations.
• Experience with greenfield multi-channel automation design, business cases, funding, project management, implementation, and delivery.
• Experience optimizing automation, CMS, and WCS capabilities across a global network and delivering ROI across a capital investment portfolio exceeding $50 million.
