Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) Supply Chain Engineer

Location: Hybrid role with on-site work at hirify.global sites in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Santa Clara, California, United States.

Annual salary: $120,860–$231,670 USD, depending on work location, skills, experience, and education.

What you will do

• Partner with architecture, design, research and development, manufacturing, and technology development teams to integrate supply chain considerations into product design.
• Conduct technology benchmarking, feasibility studies, and ecosystem analyses covering materials, processes, and suppliers.
• Develop should-cost models to support affordability decisions and supplier negotiations.
• Define supplier quality standards, validate processes, and develop control systems for production efficiency, yield, and reliability.
• Drive process validation, quality metrology readiness, and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Develop risk mitigation and alternate sourcing plans while contributing to hirify.globallectual property creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and 4+ years of experience, or a PhD and 2+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in supply chain engineering, PCB manufacturing, process engineering, supplier management, supply chain optimization, or design.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools, modeling software, or process simulation platforms.
• Familiarity with quality control systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model with on-site presence at an assigned hirify.global site in Hillsboro or Santa Clara.
