Principal Product Analyst

Location: Hybrid in London, Salford, or Newcastle, United Kingdom

Salary: Up to £74,367 per year, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Translate complex data using advanced SQL and Python into strategic recommendations for product direction.
• Partner with senior product managers, data scientists, UX specialists, engineers, and other stakeholders to shape product strategy.
• Lead discovery and experimentation to identify growth opportunities across a portfolio of digital products.
• Prioritise high-value analytical opportunities and develop measurement frameworks aligned with organisational objectives.
• Use visualisation and insight storytelling to challenge assumptions and support evidence-based decisions.
• Champion product analytics best practices, mentor analysts, and support the development of analytical capability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering product analytics for large-scale digital products.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Proven ability to influence product strategy and organisational priorities through data.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and challenging thinking through evidence-based insight.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing analysts, including line management of more junior team members.
• Ability to work autonomously and identify the highest-value opportunities for analytical investment.
