BIM Designer (AI)

Location: On-site in Memphis, Tennessee, United States; this is not a remote or hybrid role. Travel up to 25% may be required.

What you will do

• Own drawing standards, revision control, equipment tag registers, master document lists, and configuration control for data center electrical packages.
• Produce and maintain BIM and CAD models, including equipment families, raceways, cable trays, busways, and coordinated 3D layouts.
• Coordinate electrical models with mechanical and structural models and run clash detection before construction packages are released.
• Support design engineers by producing plans, sections, and isometrics from the model of record.
• Capture commissioning and field-engineering markups and incorporate them into the operating record.
• Maintain consistent equipment tagging across protection, studies, and operations functions.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting, or a related technical discipline, or 4+ years of relevant BIM/CAD production experience instead of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience producing electrical or multidisciplinary BIM/CAD packages for industrial, data center, or utility projects.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for electrical distribution packages.
• Ability to work on-site in Memphis, including in heat, cold, rain, tight quarters, at heights, and hazardous environments while wearing PPE.
• Availability for extended hours, weekends, and 24/7 on-call emergency support when required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.

Nice to have

• Experience owning drawing standards and revision control for a multi-phase campus.
• Familiarity with NEC equipment identification and one-line conventions.
• Experience coordinating electrical models with mechanical systems such as CDU and piping, and with structural models.
• Laser-scan or as-built survey experience.
