Relationship Manager Business Banking Sr

Location: In office at 4275 Executive Square, La Jolla, California, US 92037

Salary: $92,114–$156,880 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Develop and manage profitable relationships with business banking prospects and clients.
• Understand client financial requirements and recommend banking, lending, and other product solutions.
• Prepare relationship plans, coordinate calling schedules, generate referrals, and support business development.
• Negotiate, document, and close loan transactions in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor portfolio profitability, credit quality, operational risk, and adherence to policy.
• Collaborate with branches, product specialists, and other bank departments to resolve client and transaction needs.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of banking experience.
• At least 8 years of commercial lending experience within the relevant segment.
• At least 5 years of credit experience.
• Working knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, products, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: good standing under the Safe Act and registration or licensure with NMLS, or ability to register under the Safe Act.
