Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Tyler, Texas, United States; on-site five days per week

Annual base salary: $83,600–$151,479.99

What you will do

• Lead maintenance operations across all supported shifts through direct-report supervisors.
• Ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities and improve preventive maintenance, schedule compliance, responsiveness, and plant uptime.
• Coordinate staffing, priorities, escalation processes, budgets, service support, and resource utilization.
• Partner with Technical Engineering to eliminate repeat failures and improve maintenance effectiveness.
• Manage the externally managed spare parts crib supplier relationship, including service levels, inventory support, critical spares, and shutdown support.
• Review and resolve supplier performance, commercial, and service issues while aligning storeroom support with plant reliability objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience and prior maintenance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, planning, troubleshooting, execution management, CMMS, preventive maintenance programs, and maintenance metrics.
• Experience leading teams in a shift-based production environment and managing urgent issues while improving long-term maintenance discipline.
• Understanding of spare parts strategy, critical spares management, MRO suppliers, vendor-managed inventory, and supplier performance expectations.
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
