What you will do

• Support Benefit Consultants with financial consulting for employee benefit clients.
• Evaluate cost projections, plan design models, utilization metrics, claims, demographics, IBNR, and stop-loss exposure.
• Develop, review, and present financial deliverables and data analytics for current and prospective clients.
• Participate in client meetings and finalist presentations, representing the financial strategy and supporting the Sales team.
• Oversee Financial Analysts’ monthly financial reports, client exhibits, and large-claim detail.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulations in the employee benefits sector and complete related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
• ASA designation and at least 5 years of employee benefits financial experience.
• Active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License, or ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
• Proficient to expert knowledge of financial or underwriting analysis, renewals, marketing, reporting, and financial projections.
• Strong to expert Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, confidentiality, organizational, and independent judgment skills.
