Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week at the St. Louis Corporate Office in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. Candidates must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship.

Salary: $61,000–$77,500 annual base salary, with additional potential compensation through a holiday bonus and incentive awards.

What you will do

• Develop plan exhibits and compile financial projections.
• Analyze budget-versus-actual results to support organizational decision-making.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and coordinate plan updates with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation and validation of actuarial reserve analyses.
• Support the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting processes.
• Help deliver financial planning and data-driven insights to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and foundational analytical skills.
• Ability to compile and interpret data, manage tasks, follow direction, and maintain consistent productivity.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication.
• Current U.S. work authorization without requiring sponsorship, plus availability to work at least 3 days per week from the Saint Louis office.

Nice to have

• Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, or actuarial concepts.
• Familiarity with insurance industry practices or financial processes.
• Experience with reporting, forecasting, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, or stakeholder presentations.
